Los Angeles

After a long and exhausting flight, we finally landed in Los Angeles. Everything went smoothly. We got our rental car and later found our accommodation. The Rose Bowl Motel wasn't a gem, but it would do for now. As expected, we went for burgers on the first evening at a small diner across the street.

Breakfast at our motel turned out to be coffee, Kelloggs Fruit Loops, and milk. Well...

On Monday, we went to Hollywood. Following the footsteps of the stars, we visited Madame Tussauds.

From there, we passed by Beverly Hills and arrived at the Santa Monica Pier. The end of Route 66 and Muscle Beach.

On Tuesday, we went to the Six Flags amusement park. Incredibly thrilling roller coasters, but the staff was really incompetent.

Today, we drove north on Highway 1, making a quick stop at Malibu Beach to watch some surfers.

We made it to Santa Maria, where we are staying tonight at the historic Santa Maria Inn. John Wayne stayed in our room. We went for a swim in the pool and had delicious steaks.
