Getting up was once again the second hardest thing in the morning. We got up quite early, but it was freezing cold. The worst part is always the cold seat on the toilet. But anyway. After overcoming that and having a quick breakfast, we went to the bank. FINALLY! We have bank accounts. It was a difficult process.
Then we strolled around the city a bit and went to a hostel. We will check in there tomorrow. The annoying thing is that Mihan can't withdraw cash with his credit card, we found out today. But paying with the card is still working.
In the afternoon, the general tiredness, probably from jet lag, started again. So we went back home and had delicious homemade pizza.
After that, I wanted to go to the bathroom and saw the first spider in one corner. It scared me a lot and we weren't sure if it was dangerous or not. So we caught it in a glass and asked our hosts. Luckily, it turned out to be harmless.
Afterwards, we went back into the city. So we got a few more impressions of Melbourne at night.
Something I haven't mentioned in my blog yet is that you really see a lot of Asians here. I mean, almost exclusively Asians. It's like Tokyo. Really a lot.
It's just an observation, not meant to be offensive in any way.
