Day 8

Week 1 out of 12 at Naankuse is done🥳🥳

Today we had to clean the enclosure of the wild dogs. That means picking up poop (Sorry mom, for doing this and even paying for it here, but not at home😂) and collecting bones. We finished that relatively quickly and I could rest before lunch, because I'm extremely tired here.

During lunch we had the Baboon Walk again. However, this time they weren't in a cuddly mood. But we were lucky with the weather, because it has been raining on and off since yesterday😬 At least there's water from above, because water in the camp is currently scarce🫠

In the evening one of the volunteers gave a yoga class🧘🏼‍♀️. It was really fun and it felt good to be active again.
