#12 - Melbourne to Sydney (18.12. - 22.12.16)

ప్రచురించబడింది: 28.01.2017

Back in Melbourne... the city where it all started 2 months ago. And yes... not much has changed. Even the weather has stayed bad. But I couldn't resist taking a quick tour of the city with my travel partner. So park the campervan quickly, explore the most beautiful corners of the city (I already know them well), and then continue towards Philip Island for the Penguin Parade. In Melbourne, we received a nice farewell gift from the city... a $80 parking ticket for parking without a permit :D. By now, you can probably guess my answer to the question of what I think of Melbourne...

On Philip Island, I accidentally scratched our campervan while reversing. So fill out the accident form and pay a $75 deductible.

But even when nerves are frayed, spirits are low, and you're freezing your ass off waiting for the little penguins, a trip to Philip Island is definitely worth it!

And then on to Wilson Promontory National Park:

Squeaky Beach

On the way to Sydney, we really wanted to go surfing one more time... but bad weather, terrible surf conditions, and the upcoming holidays (we couldn't rent a surfboard because all the shops were closed) ruined our plans. But it's not a big deal... a day at the playground can be a lot of fun too.

Then cook some food and make a little campfire... camping is really enjoyable!
