In the Alps of Provence

After a peaceful night in Forsalquier, we wanted to visit the citadel there. Once we climbed up, it turned out that it was also closed.

So we thought we'd visit the tourist information center. There were already several tourists standing in front of it. But it was also closed. After about 15 minutes, the lady in charge came with a bottle of wine and a glass from the restaurant across the street, unlocked the door, went inside, and locked it again. Well, this job seems to be very exhausting and needs to be celebrated properly.

So we looked for a bakery or patisserie to enjoy some coffee. You can guess what happened: closed again!

We were a bit annoyed and went off to find a free spot nearby. And that made up for everything. All alone in the mountains, silence, a fantastic view, and just enjoying it.

In the evening, a fox visited us. That was a very special moment for us.
