Continuing north (08. & 09.08.17)

Tuesday was our last full day in Gothenburg. At first, the city didn't convince us as much as Copenhagen, but towards the end, we discovered the beautiful side as well. Since the weather was really nice compared to the past few days, we decided to go to the huge city park Slottskogen. The trip was worth it. Especially for children, the park is a paradise. There are not only normal green areas, but also forests, mountains, a kind of zoo where you can see animals like moose, other wildlife, penguins, goats, sheep, horses, and many more. In addition, there is a huge playground and a public barbecue area, which was in constant use. We walked to the center of the park to see the moose. Unfortunately, the search was unsuccessful. The most moose-like animals were probably the reindeer.

After chilling out a bit on one of the meadows, we walked back home.
In the evening, we went to eat in the city center. I tried the Swedish Köttbullar. It was very tasty :)

The next day we continued north, to Oslo. The closer we got to Oslo, the worse the weather became. When we arrived at the main train station, it was pouring rain. This did not make the search for accommodation any easier. After endless back and forth - where do we get the tickets? Which bus? Which stop? - we reached our apartment completely soaked. The bad mood soon disappeared here, because the AirBnB is really really nice!
Short note: 15 minutes after arrival, it stopped raining. #thanksfornothing
