My first jogging tour before breakfast in New Zealand. Jogging to the Visitor Information and on the way back training on the strength training equipment next to the aquarium. We have breakfast on a washed-up tree trunk on the beach. Today will be a hot day. The sun is already burning. Drive to Hastings. Visitor Information, cafe, stroll. Delicious sushi in a sushi bar, shopping at Packn Save, ice cream at New Zealand's most famous ice cream parlor. Very nicely decorated, great flavors. Ice cream parlors are rare in New Zealand. It would be a business idea to open such an ice cream parlor. One scoop costs 4 NZ dollars. Drive to our overnight spot at the end of Hastings, beautifully located directly by the sea. For the first time, there are many campervans at a freedom camping site. Many locals. Some big buses as campervans. Pasta with grilled chicken and red wine for dinner.
