7th Day of the Tour

ప్రచురించబడింది: 04.01.2018

Today we continued towards Perth at 7 o'clock.

The first stop was a very beautiful bay where we relaxed for about 40 minutes.

Then we continued to Pink River where we were for about 15 minutes. It's interesting what nature can do...

Then I saw that there were properties for sale there and caught one of the real estate agents on the beach as he was showing someone around. $115,000 (AUD) for the location and a built house overlooking the water and the beach - it's not the most expensive in the world and pretty awesome!

I was actually considering it xD

From here we went back up to the road - unfortunately without a new house - towards a wildlife park.

When we arrived there, we received a brief instruction on what we can and cannot do, as well as what else we can do. So I was able to feed emus, camels, birds, ostriches, and kangaroos, and even hold a baby kangaroo in my arms, let a snake crawl on me, play ball with dingos (they actually look like dogs), and bravely... go into a cage with Josh, with a keeper, to feed him. Josh is about 270cm long, incredibly strong, and usually lives in waters like the Nile... Josh can kill me with one bite.

He is a fully grown alligator.

Yes, I was mildly scared - but it was pretty cool xD

From the park, we continued to the lunch spot where we had pasta salad and bread.

On the way there, we got stopped by the police. Lizz was tested for alcohol, of course it was negative. They would have got a positive result with coffee - hehe.

After lunch, we continued towards Perth, where we had one more stop to do sand surfing. It's basically like sledding, but you steer with your hands. It's really brave to try it standing up, which is like snowboarding but without foot bindings!

Of course, I did it xD

It's so much fun and really exhausting to climb up a dune like that. You end up covered in sand from head to toe - but it's worth it.

Now, we're heading back to Perth one last time, where we will meet up with the rest of the team and slowly prepare for the World Cup.

I will also report on that.

Conclusion of the tour:

I have collected so many new impressions and I'm super happy to have had all these experiences.

It was a super well-planned tour, with smooth operations, and I can really recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately, if you rely on wifi, you don't always have luck, but you can observe the beautiful landscapes and animals much better, which is absolute balm for the soul.

You get incredible impressions. The tour not only relaxed me, but also made me think a lot, which is great. You get to know a completely different and in my opinion, more pleasant lifestyle here. The people, the culture, and the feeling in nature are just great. Every driver greets the other, every time you go into a shop, you are addressed very politely, and when you're out and about in the city, you can easily get into a small talk that can turn into a long conversation with a spontaneous coffee.

So, ultimately, a very wonderful country that I would come back to anytime, and the time I was here and am still here is absolutely too short.

Hehe
