Cycling over sticks and stones.

I borrowed a bike from the accommodation. The first one had a problem and I took another one. I rode a few meters and the chain fell off. Walked back for a kilometer. The third bike seemed to be fine for now.

Today, once again passing by all the rice fields. There was a whole path to go around that I couldn't finish yesterday.

These are actually rice fields too. However, the land here is allowed to recover.

Watermelons grow everywhere here. I couldn't find a field, but they were sold everywhere.

Now arrived at Wat Phu.

Online, only pictures were shown when everything here was green. Currently, everything is dried out.

I got a flat tire on the 10 km ride back.

When I arrived at the accommodation, I was exhausted. Riding on just the rim at the back was very tiring. At least the bike wasn't stolen. After all, I couldn't even lock it.

In the evening, there was dinner at the accommodation again. The owner's daughter somehow got closer. I always thought it would be like a family thing, but it got weirder and weirder.

She leaned her cheek against mine. Watched me eat. Sat next to me and breathed on me. Eventually, her hand was on my inner thigh. It became more and more uncomfortable. After paying, I barricaded myself in the room. She was only 26, but a bit on the heavier side. Not my type.
