Readiness

After spending the whole day walking around on Saturday and the neighbors from the hostel had a party until early morning, there wasn't much sleep, only three hours. Since I left my nice single room this morning and switched to the booked four-person room after two days to save my budget, I had the pleasure of experiencing the maximum audio volume possible. During my extensive breakfast, I met two Chilean girls who went to Santiago for three days,

They come from Concepción, my hometown. We exchanged numbers. When I go there, we will meet.

After sunbathing on the terrace, we had pasta for lunch. Later, I walked to Estación Central to buy a travel bag for tomorrow's trip to La Serena.

That ended up taking another four hours. Alameda, which leads into Santiago and continues in four different directions, is long. Since I walked with flip flops, I now have a big blister on my foot, especially after yesterday's walk. I was back at the hostel by half past eight.

Downstairs, there was a lively atmosphere. The group that arrived at noon was sitting in the courtyard, and some others had arranged to cook in the kitchen. Hostel life.

I talked to the young group from Israel and found out that after their time in the army, which everyone has to complete there, they are taking a South America trip: Chile, Peru, Bolivia. I already got my first invitation to Tel Aviv. Great people who are very open-minded.

Tomorrow I'm going to La Serena, to the sea, I'm excited.
