We left the hostel in the morning and were able to pick up our camper before setting off on the first leg to Townsville.
We briefly filled the fridge and after 4.5 hours and 350km we reached the coastal town of Townsville, where we moved into our pitch at the campsite.
On the way we saw tons of kangaroos on the side of the road, unfortunately no longer alive.
A short walk at sunset to a viewpoint drained the last reserves, which is why the lights in the van went out at 9 p.m. and the first night in the mobile home lay ahead.
