84. From Albania to Croatia, via Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina

84th day: Already at half past six in the morning we dive into the wonderful Lake Shkodra. Since rain is forecast for the region around Kotor, we decide to drive to Croatia via the shortest route. And that leads us through Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina. We pass three borders, each with a control on the exit and entry side. Everything goes smoothly, except once we have to wait longer because a motorcycle gang arrived before us.

We reach the border crossing to Croatia, northeast of Slano, via a single-lane road. The longer the ride on this 'one-way street' takes, the more doubt arises in me whether there is really a border crossing. There is, and it has everything it needs!

Just under half an hour later, we arrive at the Prapratno campsite in the Prapratna Bay. Although there is already a lot going on here, everything is very relaxed and uncomplicated. The pitches between the olive trees are very spacious, and there is a small beach with wonderfully turquoise water in front of them.

We spend the rest of the day swimming and climbing along the rocky coast.

In the evening we sit together with two people from Kirchseeon whom we met here at the campsite.
