76. Zakynthos -> west coast to Limnionas Beach

76th day: We had a wonderfully peaceful night. Of course, there is nothing near for many kilometers. The atmosphere at Plakaki Viewpoint in the morning is very peaceful. Our first walk takes us to the edge of the cliffs below which the beach is located.

Afterwards, we pack our swimming things and go all the way down to the beach again. In the morning light, everything looks completely different. Down there, we are all alone, enjoying the warm morning sun and the wonderful water. Today, Birgt also dares to climb down to the entrance and plunges into the cool water. What a unique place, you could sit and watch here forever!

Before the next bathers arrive, we climb up and continue to the Damianos Cave, a "double cave", and then on to the Porto Limnionas Beach. There we are greeted by an overcrowded car park and a lot of people on the beach. However, the water is very nice, and we probably arrived at the peak of the crowds, because soon the water is mostly empty.

After two swimmers and a little sunbathing, we are drawn to the restaurant San León, where we eat well and a lot, are served cordially, and finally enjoy the sunset on the roof.

We find our overnight accommodation on the edge of a small road.
