Lefkada 🏖️😍

The island of Lefkada offers numerous beaches with a Caribbean flair. The turquoise water and the mountainous landscape are our vacation dominion for 4 days.

Finally relax, unwind and let the sun ☀️ sizzle, listen to the sound of the sea and enjoy ⛱️😎

Our accommodation is located slightly inland, in the hilly mountain landscape. It is clear that it is high season, the rooms directly near the beach that are still available cannot be afforded.

But with our little car, we are quickly at the beach.

On the first day, we visit Kathisma Beach. We are lucky with the parking lot at around 5 PM, which becomes clear the next day 😉

We can easily stay at the beach until 8 PM and enjoy the sunset.

The next day, we go to the beach in the morning. This time we want to go to Megali Petra (secret tip). When we reach the pretty narrow road near the beach, we manage to get one of the last parking spaces directly at the ⛱️ beach. It would have been a bit complicated to drive everything backwards 😅

The beach with its shade-providing rocks is amazing 😍😍😍 You could stay here forever!

On the third day, we want to visit another beach. The Milos beach, where there is the least going on, but you meet many campers who have set up their tents right on the beach 🏕️.

In the afternoon, we want to take a look at the other side of the island.

Nydri, the clearly more touristy side of the island, has overcrowded hotels and small pebble beaches, and only has a marina to offer.

Far too crowded...

So we did everything right 😉😃
