3rd day from Hirschaid to Eisfeld

After a wet and cheerful church fair Monday at the Kraus Brewery Inn in Hirschaid, we continued on the 3rd day to Bamberg. The cycle paths are very well developed and you can reach Bamberg very quickly. Past the Brose Arena, we went to the old town, had a short break, and then continued towards Coburg via Hallstadt. Unfortunately, most of the farmhouses along the way were closed. We had a quick lunch break in Rattesldorf and then went straight to the market square in Coburg. Delicious Coburger Bratwurst grilled on pine cones. We continued towards Eisfeld. It gets hilly and you can feel the foothills of the Thuringian Forest. I had to get off and walk uphill for 2 km. Finally, after 86 kilometers, we arrived at the Hotel Hubertus in Eisfeld, near the former inner German border. Shower and a quick bite to eat.
