Good morning! (Pictures upside down again, I'm giving up!)
Day of days! It's time to enter the city of love or something like that.
Today there are fewer pictures, but plenty of pure Italy!
After a very good and healthy breakfast, the journey started with good prospects.
The route to Bassano del Grappo was again very beautiful with good bike paths. Here I rode through places where the residents themselves didn't know if their neighbors were still alive. On the one hand, the people were very old and the houses looked very bombed. It will take more than just renovation.
From then on, it got pretty monotonous. Except for 2-3 villa passages, one city followed another through a roundabout massacre. And right there, Google Maps added another highlight. In the spirit of 'Monotonous can do anything', I was led through a pedestrian underpass. Let's just say that was officially the dumbest shortcut I've ever seen!
I arrived in Mestre, just before Venice, at -1 meters above sea level. So one wave and you can take 'water city' literally.
Since I still had time, I took the SEV ('The legend of the German long-distance transport industry') to Venice in 10 minutes. Then I walked a few bridges for a short time to visit San Marco Square and museums tomorrow!
Talk to you later!
