My life in Da Nang

ప్రచురించబడింది: 26.05.2017

For those wondering what I do here all day long, I have a 'normal' 35-hour work week. Those are the hours in which I teach. Preparation time is not included. It varies depending on the level and the learners. In some classes, learners are very independent, looking for and finding answers to questions like 'Why does the vowel change in the comparative/superlative?' or 'Why do I need the subjunctive 2 in the past tense?'. However, many participants have questions about local prepositions, temporal prepositions, adjective declination, or all kinds of conjunctions. Then, I have to intensify grammar exercises and compile more materials. But, as mentioned in a previous article, the different social forms are crucial. All in all, I need (more) time for preparation accordingly.

A while ago, I moved from the city to the beach. So, when I'm not working, I enjoy the beach life, explore the surroundings, socialize, do sports, or savor culinary specialties. Because not only Vietnamese cuisine is delicious, Da Nang/Hoi An also offer delicacies from other countries. You could say that you can take a 'culinary trip around the world' here.
