Cambodia: from the tourist city of Siem Reap to the remote island of Koh Ta Kiev

வெளியிடப்பட்டது: 05.02.2018

9.12. - 14.12.

After a short stay in Siem Reap, we decided to head to the sea as soon as possible. The city was too touristy and crazy for us. Loud music, absolutely no sense of proportion (everything costs $1, $2, $3 - a massage $1, 1 postcard $1, etc.), so many tourists, drunk tuk-tuk drivers, and much more.

On the other hand, the island of Koh Ta Kiev in the south of Cambodia was an absolute paradise! We didn't have much luxury (sleeping in simple bungalows without running water - toilet flush and shower were a bucket full of water), but we had the absolute dream landscape in front of us, and most of the time, it was almost exclusively for us. There were about 10 other people on the island. During the day, a few boats with tourists arrived, but they were gone after a few hours. And the island belonged to 'us' again. A great place to relax for a few days and do nothing but relax!
