Ubud - Rice Terraces and Monkey Forest

வெளியிடப்பட்டது: 11.11.2017

We took a taxi to Ubud! It is less crowded than Kuta, which is very relaxing! There are still persistent taxi drivers, but that is normal in Bali! Our hotel is located in the town center, so we can easily walk to many places! On Friday, we went straight to the Monkey Forest! It feels quite strange to walk among all the monkeys because you never know what will happen or how they will react! After a while, you get used to it! You can feed the monkeys with bananas and they will climb onto your back! However, they can be quite pushy! It is definitely worth the experience!

Today, we visited the Tegalalang Rice Terraces! It was beautiful to see! We had never seen rice terraces before! Everything was so green! There was also a coffee and tea tasting on site. We even bought some that are supposed to protect us from mosquitoes and make us look even more beautiful! We'll see what happens! By the way, we went there by scooter - traffic in Bali is crazy, but we made it there and back safely! Oh, and the speedometer didn't work - but apparently there is no speed limit in Bali 😊

Tomorrow we will continue our journey towards Mount Batur!
