Tag 036 "11.11.Langkawi"

After both of our batteries were empty, we were looking for some peace and beach. We consulted Google and it suggested different options. After thinking for a long time, we decided on Langkawi.

Until the day before yesterday, nobody knew this island.

Flights and accommodation were booked quickly and off we went.

Taxi - Flight - Taxi - Accommodation at the end of the world - Arrived - Scooter - Looking for money and food.

Today, the food was the only haven after all the back and forth driving. We decided on a rather moderately visited small roadside restaurant with folding chairs. However, just before ordering, a horde of Chinese people stormed in, claiming the remaining chairs and making the staff sweat. We had to quickly place our orders, otherwise everything would be gone, the friendly waitress told us 😅. After Ulli had to resort to Subway yesterday after a really not very good meal, EVERYTHING was delicious today. There was Sweet and Sour Chicken, rice, shrimp with plenty of garlic cloves (they were also very tasty - Falk is happy😩.) & Brussels sprouts.

Afterwards, we went back to our accommodation with the scooter.
