Buggerru - Cala Domestica - Spiaggio di Mansau - Sant'Antioco and Porto Pino

வெளியிடப்பட்டது: 21.10.2017

The captain has shown us a lot in the past few days. In general, we have slowly sailed along the west coast towards the south. Il Capitano said we were missing the 'Savoir-vivre' and instructed us that whenever we anchor somewhere and want to explore the surroundings, we should do so. Said - anchored!

Shortly after leaving Buggerru, we came across Cala Domestica. The admiral and I decided to make our first stop and go snorkeling in the picturesque bay... In the evening, we anchored at Spiaggia di Masua, where we could observe the waves rolling in the next morning - and all this in the Mediterranean. At noon, we set off towards the south again, heading towards Porto Pino. On the way, we passed the island of Sant'Antioco, which was connected to the 'mainland' by a bridge, and because we felt like it, we decided to go over and were promptly rewarded with the sight of flamingos swarming. In Sant'Antioco, the captain let us anchor in an ordinary dead-end street in the upper town... That fox! Did he know it was my birthday? In any case, he surprised us in the evening with a visit to the local brewery, which not only offered self-explanatory brewing art but also the finest food. And I was allowed to order whatever I wanted 🤗

In addition, I tried all 5 of their own beer brands! What a party 🤣 We slept like babies, but to our surprise, we found out that we had anchored not far from the local elementary school and the next morning, all helicopter parents flew their bambini to school. So we just had a quick coffee and then continued...

Now we are in front of Porto Pino! After a morning hike, we spent the rest of the day at the beach! The captain borrowed a SUP from our anchor neighbors, which I was allowed to play with on the beach... at times even the admiral and the captain joined me and let me paddle them on the water...

All in all, successful days and I am slowly beginning to understand what the Capitano means by 'Savoir-vivre'... Ahoi!
