When life gives you molasses you make rum.

Yesterday was rather more unspectacular. Over 6 hours on the road. Mostly rainy and rather cold. That's why we went to bed early and took a break from blogging.

We slept in and made pancakes for breakfast (not pancakes!!!). After a few attempts in the pan on an electric plate and on the grill, we just made them directly on the grill. It worked great!

Because the weather forecast for today was also pretty bad, we visited the rum tour in Bundaberg. Our liquor supplies have been restocked!

On the taxi ride home, Hansi discovered kangaroos by the side of the road. We are at the Bargara Caravan Park. In case anyone is nearby and wants to take a look :)

Get up early tomorrow and go snorkeling.. The weather forecast says good weather again!
