After our 12-hour wait at the airport yesterday and subsequent flight cancellation, we were able to spend 2 relaxing hours at the Steigenberger Hotel Cologne, only to be back at the check-in counter now. Yesterday, we were actually standing with the bus in front of the plane when we had to turn around because several planes were out of service due to technical defects. Waiting for luggage and hotels took additional hours. We thank Eurowings for the worst organization of all time and the unfriendliest service!
Last night, we were told that we would fly at 6 am this morning, but currently the departure is already at 7:30 am. Looking around, it looks like everything but a holiday atmosphere.
We will report back, hopefully from Vegas!
