Day 15/29 - Plettenberg Bay

வெளியிடப்பட்டது: 30.01.2024

Today we first worked a lap with our feet in the pool. We could get used to that 🙈 25 degrees in the morning and a swim before work. In addition, the purchase prices here are really affordable.
After the kids were awake, we splashed around a bit and got a little stuff done (laundry, shopping, etc.).
Then we went to the beach for lunch and then we had a little serenade to buy a few souvenirs to take home. We actually wanted to go to another beach but the kids both fell asleep and so we drove a bit through Plett. It really is a beautiful city with such a laid back vibe. The people are really relaxed and everything is only 5 minutes away 🤩And what we noticed in South Africa in general... it's super clean everywhere. There is no trash or pet remains lying around. After driving around a bit, we were able to get a great view from Whale Tail Lookout Point. On the way back we drove past a super cute church and then we ended up in the Main Market. The Main Market is set up like a beer garden. There are small stands that sell different things or offer services, with a view of the sea 🌊Anni slept a bit in the car, Leo looked excitedly around the area and we enjoyed an incredibly good coffee with a view of the sea.
In the evening there was a braai again.
Tomorrow we want to go to the Tsitsikamma National Park and the day after tomorrow we'll go back to Swellendam.
