Our own car !!

Although we have been waiting for this day forever and the anticipation was huge, it started off pretty stupid... On the way to the train, which we wanted to take to Takanini to kiwicruisecontrol, Franzi twisted her ankle and not only banged her knee but also sprained her ankle. When we arrived in Takanini, we immediately saw that we shouldn't be alone at kcc. As soon as we got off the train, we saw a very nice looking backpacker couple. The two good-looking companions immediately helped us when we didn't know where to go. When we arrived at kcc, everyone got their car and did the paperwork. There was also another couple there, but they looked more luxurious and stupid. We hoped that the great couple would come with us, but unfortunately they left quickly. But we accidentally met them again in the neighboring city, which made our hearts immediately happy. They are simply awesome <3 (written by the 'nice looking backpacker couple')

However, buying the car turned out to be more difficult than expected, as we had actually planned to transfer the money, but were told on site that unfortunately this was not possible... So we had to get as much cash as possible as quickly as possible. Only problem: we needed $4500, but the withdrawal limit is unfortunately $800 per day... Fortunately, we had several credit cards and several ATMs available, and so we managed to scrape together the necessary money with a lot of effort and thus become the happy owners of the light blue Toyota Estima from 1993 after all!
