Patong Beach

We have reached our next and final destination...Patong Beach 😋

But first, let's talk about our past few days...we have simply enjoyed our time and indulged ourselves, except for beach walks...it was quite heavenly in the small hotel ☺☀🌊🌴🍸

We already ordered a taxi for the transfer from Mai Khao to Patong yesterday through the Grab taxi app...and luckily, we had already communicated with our taxi driver via WhatsApp...but more on that later 🙈😜

After checking out yesterday, our taxi driver arrived very early and took us to Patong...on the way there, we almost had a collision with a moped rider who was attacked by a dog...but luckily everything turned out fine...it's quite dangerous with the dogs, especially in the village where we were staying...in Patong, we checked into the hotel but couldn't immediately access our suite...so we headed towards the beach and the city to explore everything...but it was extremely hot and humid...which wasn't the case before...and it even rained a few drops...afterwards, we were able to go to our room, which is really fancy and above all, very clean.

And before we wanted to go for dinner, Kurt realized that his phone was somehow missing 😳

Well...then we contacted the old hotel and...our taxi driver, with whom we had luckily already been communicating via WhatsApp...and he called us directly on WhatsApp and he had the phone 🤗 He then returned from the airport to Patong and everyone was happy...we were so lucky and praised WhatsApp and technology 😉

Yes, yesterday evening, thanks to Trip Advisor, we had a really good meal and explored Bangla Road and the huge shopping center Jungceylon. Right next to our hotel is a really nice Belgian beer cafe...with a lot of delicious Belgian beer varieties...we sat outside for a long time...🍻

The last days we just hung out by the pool and beach☀🌴🌊🍸

We booked the taxi over Grab on Saturday for a trip from Mai Khao to Patong...luckily our taxi driver contacted us over WhatsApp but more on that later🙈😜

After our check out on the way to Patong we almost got hit by a small motorbike who had to deviate his way to avoid a big dog in the streets.

Arrived at Patong we were too early to check in to our suite so we had to take a walk and explored the city. It was very hot and damp, it also rained a bit. After our little stroll our suite was ready and we could check in. Everything is spotless and we liked it a lot. Before we went to dinner Kurt was looking for his mobile phone which he couldn't find. So we contacted the hotel and our taxi driver over what's app. Our taxi driver responded that he has found the mobilephone in his taxi and he would return it.  So we were very lucky 🤗🙃

We also used Trip Advisor one more time for a good meal at Cafe de Paris. We explored the Bangla Road and a huge Shopping center Jungceylon.

Right next to our hotel we have a Belgian beer cafe with lots of tasty Belgian beers...that's where we spent the rest of our evening outside ... 🍻
