On Saturday, I eagerly took the bus to Dublin early in the morning to pick up my sister at the airport.
It was so wonderful to see her again after two months, and we hugged each other for a long time.
We talked about her flight in the arrival hall, and I had no idea who else she had brought along.
Suddenly, I heard a voice behind me saying, 'Hey, can I get a beer?' When I turned around, I saw my uncle Markus. It was the first time in my life that I was speechless.
I stood there in front of him with my mouth wide open, not knowing what to say.
Before I could even realize that it was really him, the next surprise, the biggest surprise, came.
Suddenly, I saw my 'little' cousin Sina running towards us from the door. She had been given two days off from school just to visit me in Ireland.
When I saw her, tears of joy rolled down my face. The surprise was successful!
It was so wonderful to see my family again, indescribable joy.
We had so much fun, laughed a lot, and simply enjoyed the four days together. This morning, they flew back home.
Family is simply the most important thing, and I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful family.
They support me, are happy for me, and encourage me when things don't go so well. I can always rely on them, and that gives me courage and strength for my journey.
