Modica and its marina

We are going to Donnalucata, a place where Luchino Visconti filmed a movie and where there is supposed to be a very special atmosphere. Unfortunately, as soon as we arrive, it starts raining. Otherwise, it would already be beautiful there....

Okay then, let's continue to Modica. One of the beautiful Baroque towns and a UNESCO World Heritage site. I enter the parking lot in our navigation system, and then another top-class navigation adventure begins. Despite Google's support, we drive three times in the same circle, can't find the parking lot, and the streets we are supposed to drive on are so narrow that only a Fiat 500 could fit through.

Completely annoyed, I look for another parking lot. When we find the parking lot - taking a completely different street - our navigation system announces that we have reached our destination. When we walk, we discover a street that we didn't even see from the car - no wonder.....

Modica is a really worth seeing place. Unfortunately, it is raining again... It's not really fun and we escape back to the RV without even having a coffee.

Back at the coast in Marina di Modica, we find a spot in a parking lot with some Italian colleagues. We will stay here for now, hoping for a sunny and warm day tomorrow.
