We continue along the beautiful E6 for hours towards Tromsø. And the next multi-day stop before the Nordkapp is the town of Alta. We settle in at the 'Strandcamping Alta' site, which is located right next to a large river. After a long time, we can go for a walk in the forest again and Rocky is delighted with the sandy ground along the river. Unfortunately, the city has hardly anything to offer here except for various shopping opportunities. The city center consists only of a shopping mall. Alta is more of an industrial city, but it has the famous Northern Lights Cathedral.

On the way to Alta, we stop at a small rest area located right by the fjord. A small footpath leads down to the shore and invites you for a short walk. When we arrive there, exactly what we didn't expect happens. Of course, everything happens too quickly and we don't manage to take a photo of the whale. Probably a porpoise, which is on a feeding hunt in the fjord.
