PIDISI sechs Tage davor...

Six more days and then we'll set off on our 4-week trip to New Zealand - our first long-distance trip. So almost: Child (hereinafter referred to as Child or Simon) was further away...Singapore, USA...we only made it to Lensengericht ;-)

Oh well, who is child, who is us? The child is 22 years old, a student, it's on our backs...so Mama & Papa still lives in the hotel.

We are Diana, 50 years old and Peter, 53 years old and also the operators of the Hotel Mama & Papa.

Why we travel to New Zealand? Diana saw a travel advertisement for New Zealand on TV, was thrilled and mumbled (without realizing what she was doing) "we could go there sometime", child heard it, reacted immediately and saw the investors in his mind's eye, Peter wanted to I've always admired orcs, visited Galadriel and Elrond and then left the "Grey Havens" in one of the last Elven ships to sail to Aman - so for that too!

Why do we do this blog? So that we can still enjoy it in 10 years.
