Day 11: Million Dollar Quartet

This morning we arrived in Costa Maya, Mexico. There were two other ships present with us. Since the excursion to the Mayan temples is not until tomorrow, Friday, we had almost a morning brunch. With many people already leaving the ship, it was particularly quiet on the upper deck. In the afternoon, we also went ashore to learn about the land and its people. Here too, there is a larger area fenced off, with shops, restaurants, entertainment, local crafts and food. Outside of that, there is nothing else in the immediate vicinity except for some houses. However, thanks to the cruise ships, the local population has the opportunity to earn a regular income by offering their services to the tourists. After the daily aperitif, dinner, and coffee with sidecar. After that, we went to see the Broadway musical "Million Dollar Quartet". This was about the famous music session with Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. This show was also music at the highest level.
