Senja, Ersfjord

Stage 35: Sommarøya - Ersfjord (Senja): In the early morning, a short climb up Hillesøytoppen with a wonderful view of the surrounding small islands, the turquoise blue water, and the surrounding hills... The ferry from Sommarøya to Senja Island was full, and since we didn't want to wait until 3:00 p.m. for the next one, we took the overland route to Ersfjord on Senja. And: wow! Long white sandy beach, surrounded by sharp jagged 'mountains' with some snow-covered areas, very relaxed atmosphere! We swim in the ice-cold water, shower under the open cold water shower, and enjoy the warm temperatures outside.
