Day 17

After my 3-day surfing course, my arms and thighs were really sore. The morning was tough and I couldn't get out of bed. I had to really force myself today 😴. I packed everything up, had breakfast, and yawned a lot. Dishes done, and off I went. First stop was the glass container to throw away all my trash. Today, I went to Anglet, near the Spanish border🇪🇸🇪🇸. It felt like forever until I arrived, and then I had to find a parking spot...not really in the mood for that. I actually wanted to do laundry today but...not really in the mood for that. Found a parking spot, waited for the midday heat to pass, went for a bike ride...loving it😁 Uphills, downhill rides, and more uphills awaited me in Biarritz.

It was already after 6pm and after over 2 hours and 20 km, I was completely drenched in sweat. As a reward, I treated myself to a cold beer at the bus stop🍺. After the third one, I got hungry. Today, I had a salad. With half a baguette, my hunger was satisfied. After doing the dishes, the sun had already set, but I rushed anyway because I wanted to go to the promenade. It was market day again, it feels like every day in France. But tomorrow, I would already be in Spain🇪🇸😁. A beach bar looked tempting, so I had 3 beers and enjoyed the promenade a bit more.

After walking around the streets and the promenade a bit more, it was time to go to bed.
