From Anklam to Szczecin

After the mandatory part of the journey, now for the enjoyable part. We had finished the Baltic Sea Cycle Route yesterday in Świnoujście. For the remaining two days, we decided to first head to Szczecin and then the next day ride a stretch along the Oder to the south and then take the train to Berlin. Since the distance from Anklam to Szczecin was quite far, this morning we first took the train to Pasewalk. On the way to Szczecin, there was an extremely high amount of bicycle traffic, which we had not expected, but then again it was Sunday. Shortly before Szczecin, we took a break at a small lake in a recreational area, and then the last 10 km to the Willa Flora Hotel were left. Since we arrived relatively early, we could not check in immediately. Therefore, we left our luggage there, stored the bikes, and took a first little walk.
