32 Hike + City walk

🇬🇧 English version below

Today I planned 2 different types of hikes. On the one hand, a hike to the highest mountain nearby, and on the other hand, a leisurely stroll through the center of Oslo.

Although Haugskollen is only 387 m high, it should not be underestimated, as it can be steep and very rocky at times. I was glad that I had my great hiking poles with me and could use them.

On the way down, I looked for a less steep path because I didn't want to strain my knees, as I still need them for a few thousand kilometers on my bike.

From Baerum, I took the bus and subway directly to Oslo Central Station.

Here began the second part of my daily planning. I had set the Royal Castle and Vigeland Park as special destinations. But I walked relatively aimlessly through the city, looking left and right, as there was so much to see. I would like to highlight the cathedral, which I was able to visit.

At the castle, I was also lucky to be just in time for the changing of the guard.

Although I have been to Vigeland Park twice before, it fascinates me every time. I don't know of any other city that can boast something comparable. Please take a look at the photos and form your own opinion.

By the way, you can view all the photos on my tours on Komoot and also see the position from which I took the photo.

For today I planned 2 different types of hikes. On the one hand, a hike to the highest mountain in the area, and on the other hand, a leisurely stroll through the center of Oslo.

Although Haugskollen is only 387 m high, it should not be underestimated, as the climb is sometimes steep and very rocky. In any case, I was glad that I had my great hiking poles with me and could use them.

I then chose a way down that was less steep because I didn't want to strain my knees, which I still need for a few thousand kilometers on my bike.

From Baerum, I went directly to Oslo Central Station by bus and subway.
