According to Lonely Planet, this is supposed to be the most beautiful beach in the galaxy. We have to say that it looks really great, but whether it is really the most beautiful beach, I don't know. We will go there tomorrow at high tide.
After the monkey invasion, we were glad to check out of the hotel. Luckily, we didn't have to go far with our heavy luggage. We decided to go to the resort next door. We had of course checked out the bungalow beforehand.
When we moved into the bungalow, Heike, as always, checked the toilet first. She was used to having to clean every toilet so far. But this time it must have been particularly disgusting, because I rarely heard her curse so loudly! The trash can was also rarely so full of disinfectant wipes!
Behind the bathroom door, there was still a towel from the previous guests that was forgotten during the "cleaning". It was clear that this bungalow had not been cleaned. We thought that maybe this would be a good preparation for India, so we decided not to complain. But when the kids came back from the pool a short time later and their skin reacted strongly in some places due to the overly chlorinated pool water, we immediately left the resort.
The next visitors can look forward to a very clean toilet :)
After the shock, we went to the next restaurant and ordered some food while we searched for accommodations. We were surprised to see that Railey Beach was almost fully booked. We decided to spend a bit more money to avoid having to move again.
Flora and I checked out the resort and the bungalow while the men stayed at the restaurant to "guard the luggage".
Flora immediately loved the bungalow and I thought Christian would like it too, since you could see the sea from the toilet and the best part was, I didn't have to clean it.
The downside of the beautiful view was, of course, that Christian spent even longer in the bathroom.
