The parrot greets daily - eieiei. And with sunshine. The new fashion: Don't eat where you sleep. So we set off and look for an exclusive breakfast spot. It is quickly found on the map. Now we just have to get there. It doesn't seem to take long either. Along the way, we notice that we can take tourist route 6. So a popular path. You can tell that or rather we and Vicky. The road is narrow (country road with oncoming traffic), curvy, bumpy thanks to 1000 patches and holes, fast (100km/h) and longer than expected. But Sarah skillfully commands Vicky through the jungle. Marco has a slight headache and navigates (mind you, a great road to relax).
It was worth it. We enjoy our morning muesli at a lonely beach. Of course, we have to start a sunscreen session first. To do this, a very short ode:
'Oh sunscreen, oh sunscreen,
Thanks to you, we don't feel ashamed in the sun.
You are so shiny, greasy, white and 50+,
Keeps us in great shape.'
In Forster, we make a stop, go shopping, and sit in the flowery Cafe Toscana. Cappuccino & Chai Latte are on the menu today. The break is good because afterwards we continue to North Haven. At the campsite, we park Vicky, have a snack, and use the Wi-Fi. Then we take a detour to the beach, which is deserted again.
In the evening, three kangaroos suddenly hop across the square. We didn't expect them here. At the end of the day, we do some office work, i.e. we book the last remaining accommodations in Brisbane and Dabai.
P.S. Describe the Aussie: mullet hairstyle, homeownership, boat, camper, SUV, morning-fit, talkative, dog owner, bike with a too low saddle (without exception!!!) and morning bacon.
