Birthday in NY

Happy Birthday to you.... What a day. It is now 10:10 PM local time and the day was simply amazing.... The ending was a mega blast. But let's start from the beginning. 

After the first greetings from Germany arrived (it's handy that we were behind you in terms of time, so the greetings were already there when we woke up) we went for breakfast to a typical diner. That was the birthday child's first wish. Today there were of course pancakes and waffles again and a sandwich with fried egg and cheese (LuMi's new favorite food).

Oh, and we got new Air Jordans for the birthday, we wanted to mention that too :-)

After breakfast we went to the American Natural History Museum. Very impressive! Especially the beautiful dioramas... that means the animals are arranged as if they were alive and in their natural habitat.

In addition, there is the real skeleton of a T-Rex and a life-size blue whale and real pieces from the moon, that was absolutely impressive.
