Today was my first day at DSKL, which left me with a very positive impression. Since we finished around two o'clock, we decided to take a look at the Petronas Towers after a short break. For this, we took public transportation for the first time. Luckily, I already had a card for the LRT, but the other two did not. And you can't buy them everywhere, which is kind of stupid, but couldn't be changed. You can still ride the train, but it's a bit more complicated without the card. Nevertheless, after a 20-minute train ride (for 3.10 Ringgit, which is 0.66 Euro...), we arrived in the city center, or rather a part of the city center. We got off the subway station and there they were, the tallest twin towers in the world. I've probably seen taller ones in terms of size, but their shape makes them really beautiful! I like this landmark ^^ Since you can take better photos of the towers from the park on the other side, we naturally went there first. Then we took a little detour to one of the malls there (we were looking for a card for the train, but in vain...instead, we got a super delicious smoothie!), and then we went back to the fountain behind the Petronas Towers for the light show. It was supposed to start at eight, but when we arrived there at two, there was already music and the light display. We found a nice spot, but after ten minutes, everything suddenly ended. Ten minutes later, it started again, but without music. And then, ten minutes later, a song suddenly played again, but this time, only the light show was running, with the sounds of the caller from the mosque in the background. All in all, it was a bit confusing, but still super worth seeing! And the towers look even more beautiful at night! The trip was definitely worth it and gives us energy for the long day tomorrow.
