Spa with lava stones and sea

So to put it briefly: we basically had a spa day 😂 on our way to the beaches north of Kona, we suddenly came across a huge lava field. Of course, we made a stop and walked on the dried lava stones. It was really exciting to observe the large cracks and caves under the stones. Everywhere, small towers were built with lava stones, why exactly is not quite clear to us. Whether it is simply a "I was here" symbol or has a religious meaning, we have no idea 🤷🏼‍♀️ In any case, we also built towers.😋

Afterwards, we were at a beautiful beach, Hapuna Beach Park. It was really beautiful and you could swim, snorkel, and glide with the bodyboard in the water easily.

Our flight to Maui is about to leave, our last stop in Hawaii. We will stay there for a week... I'm so excited to finally be able to unpack our suitcases...😃
