1770 and the Whitsundays

வெளியிடப்பட்டது: 20.01.2019

The bus trip to Agnes Water and 1770, the point where Captain Cook first landed in Australia, I was fortunate enough to do with two ladies from my Fraser car group. So the whole trip goes by even faster.

As soon as we got off, we were greeted in a very amusing way, but unfortunately we had to part because we had reserved in different hostels.

In my hostel I got to know the first Swiss person here in Australia and had a fun evening with him and the other hostel guests and a fascinating insect. 😅

The next morning I got up early to enjoy the sunrise and then cycled about 5 km to the famous Captain Cook Monument. Unfortunately, that was all I did in this small town, as I had to make my way to the bus just before noon to travel to Airlie Beach. At least I didn't want to miss my sailing trip.

After a long bus ride, which I spent alone with the driver at the beginning, I arrived in Airlie Beach where I had an unsettled night thanks to my roommates.

The next morning I had arranged to meet with my French colleagues and together we made our way to the boat.

The two days on the SV Whitehaven were characterized by fun conversations, good food, great snorkeling tours, beautiful beaches and much more! An unforgettable experience! Enjoy the pictures! ;)
