The next cruise is coming up and this time it's not the Baltic Sea, but we're going to Norway.
Kiel / Eidfjord / Alesund / Andalsnes, Molde / Bergen / Kiel
For me, it was also the first time in Norway. I didn't have a big idea about it. As a girl from Bavaria, surrounded by mountains in Bergen, I thought, 'Well, it will certainly be very impressive, but I already know mountains.'
Yes, I was wrong... the journey by ship through the fjord landscape is simply b-r-e-a-t-h-t-a-k-i-n-g!!! There are no words to describe it.
Eidfjord - Our first stop on the Norway trip
View over Eidfjord with our drone
Here I went on a Scuddy tour early in the morning. This combination of scooter and buddy is definitely a lot of fun. My colleague went on an exploration tour with us and showed me the beautiful Eidfjord.
In the afternoon, we went on a tour with the guests.
EID01 - Waterfall and Hardangervidda Nature Center were on the agenda.
The big highlight here was the goat on the roof of the nature center. It made itself comfortable there and lives in a small hut. It has a clear view of what's going on. :-)
'The Norwegian Nature Center Hardanger is a modern nature and cultural history experience center. Here you will find three floors with exciting exhibitions, dioramas, interactive stations, extraordinary aquariums, theme videos, and illustrative posters. Explore the animal world, nature, and climate.'
After the nature center, we went to the waterfall 'Vøringsfossen'. It is one of the most famous waterfalls in Norway. The highest free-fall distance of Vøringsfossen is 145m.

For me, it was definitely breathtaking to stand up at Vøringsfossen and watch the waterfall's free fall. Apart from the noise, it was also beautiful to see the reflection of the sun rays in the water.
