Tag 64 - Cairns

In the morning, we want to explore Cairns a bit more and try to get up early. We walk along the promenade again. We buy some souvenirs, pass by the post office, and then visit the Cairns Art Gallery. Unfortunately, we have to leave for the airport at 12 o'clock because we also have to return our car. In the afternoon, we fly to Melbourne.

There are 2810 km between Cairns and Melbourne. For comparison: the distance is as long as the one from Berlin to Lisbon. The flight takes about 3.5 hours and we arrive in Melbourne in the evening. Since Melbourne Airport is 25 km away from the Central Business District, we stay near the airport and also spend the evening there.
