8th Day Kyoto

வெளியிடப்பட்டது: 24.09.2019

The Philosophers' Path was our destination today. It's called so because a philosophy professor used to walk here. There are many temple complexes nearby and contrary to the suggestion in the travel guide, we wanted to walk the path from south to north. This way, we could start at the Nanzen-ji Temple. That was the plan. The huge gate to the Nanzen-ji Temple can be climbed through steep stairs and the view is incredibly beautiful. Before that, we also visited the Konchi-in Temple, where only the turtles and koi fish were apart from us. Not a single other tourist. Hard to believe. We also visited the Eikando Temple. Impressive, spacious temple building, but unfortunately no photos allowed. Back to the plan. Our Philosophers' Path looked quite unphilosophical, no cherry trees, only cars, power lines, vending machines. Eventually, after some time, we found the last meters of the right path and rewarded our great orienteering skills with a very very delicious udon soup! We went to Omen at the northern end of the path for that. Mmhhh... In the dusk, we walked the entire Philosophers' Path, saw many cats being fed by the Japanese people, and now we have very tired feet.

Armdand, natürlich von der Ostsee. Ohrringe gab's beim Schmuckverkaufsevent in der Alpenrose in Maurach 😁 Kann ja nur im Urlaub solchen Schmuck tragen.
