Day 11 - 01.08.2023 Bled and Blejski Grad

The weather forecast had predicted rain all day and it turned out to be true. Just as we started our walk around the lake, it started pouring. Equipped with rain jackets and umbrellas, we were still soaked after 5 minutes. Luckily, we passed by the Lego Museum and spontaneously went in. There were some nice Lego figures to look at, although it wasn't very big. After that, the rain stopped for a while and we continued around the lake until the next shower.

But that passed too and we dared to go uphill to the castle despite the thunderstorm warning. Luckily, the weather held up and we had a great view of the lake and the surroundings. We also explored the museums. Henriette gave Juliane a 'private tour' and explained everything to her. Wonderful :-)

On the way back, I counted the steps from the castle to the church. 311 - unless I miscounted. Then we had delicious ice cream at Café Park and just in time before the heavy rain started with the thunderstorm, we were back at the hotel.
