Achoo, Layered Haircut and End of Lockdown, Week 8

வெளியிடப்பட்டது: 15.04.2021

There's not really much to report this week, but we've summarized the most important things for you:

The week started with a nasty sinusitis. Yes, there are still regular colds....But at least shared misery is half the misery, so we both sat there with tea, tissues, tablets, and took turns with constant sneezing attacks.

At work, we start at 08:30 am and have a lot to do. The nice thing is: when we finish work at 5 pm, it feels like it's only 3 pm because the sun is still high in the sky, so we can still do a lot.

Since the hairdresser here is also - like everything else - relatively expensive, and we found out that some of the students have hairdressing scissors and cut their own hair with them, we spontaneously decided to book a 'hairdresser appointment' with them. What can we say - all in all, we are satisfied with the results, except for a 'small' step that makes Franzi look a bit wilder. We are very curious to see what our hairdressers at home have to say about our masterpiece.

While Germany wants to introduce even stricter rules (we have already given up on the rules at home...isn't everything closed?), the rules here have been relaxed again after the number of cases decreased - everything is open again with limited capacity. That means for us: we go to the hot pot in Bulungarvik every day because we still have some admission tickets left...we can't wait to sit in the hot pot surrounded by mountains with free coffee and funny conversations.

Those of you from Swabia probably got stuck at 'free coffee' for a moment. You read that right. Here you not only get free water but sometimes also free coffee. In our opinion, Germany could introduce that too :))

In between, we made another trip to Dynjandi and saw an Arctic fox on the way. Now we only need blue whales and puffins...

Here's a little joke to finish: What do you call the drive to the vaccination appointment? - A shot tour.

Greetings from 'the Red-Nose-Reindeers'

Deal of the Week: At the restaurant/bar 'Edinburgh', you can spin a wheel of fortune for 16 euros and win alcohol. 'Can' - Franzi S. didn't win anything and wasted 16 euros. Ouch.
