Kitchen, ruins and life

வெளியிடப்பட்டது: 14.03.2020

After our bus tour, we took a cooking class the next day, including shopping at a huge market where we really stood out as tourists.

Then we continued on to Puebla, where we took a beautiful tour with our guide Alejandra to the ruins of Cantona.

Alejandra is already feeling the effects of the coronavirus, so we were her last tour for the next 2 months. Everyone else canceled.

In Cantona, we could imagine that people actually lived here in the past. The old city structure is very well preserved, as are the famous ball courts.

Afterwards, we visited a former hacienda. We were warmly welcomed by the family and served a traditional lunch. Then Adrian showed us the property in great detail and didn't want to let us leave. The highlight was a combined well and water tower, which we could climb up to the roof and enjoy a fantastic view.

In the evening, we ended the day with a little stroll through Puebla before moving on to Jalcomulco for our activity weekend, where we will meet up with Micha.
