Holland in September - Arrival in Julianadorp

வெளியிடப்பட்டது: 20.11.2018

Hooray, hooray, we were on the move again! Actually, Luke didn't want to go on another trip before our Thailand vacation in December, but luckily I managed to convince him to at least go to Holland for a week. This is about the sixth time we've been there, the third time in Julianadorp, where we rented a vacation apartment in Strandslaag. The last time we were here was 6 years ago, when we were only 18 and spent our first vacation together here. Time flies...

After a good 7 hours of driving, we arrived in Julianadorp around 3 p.m. We made it through without any traffic jams! The weather looked fine when we arrived, so our first stop was the beach, which is right behind the dunes. There we quickly checked if our kiosk at Paal 6 was still there. They've done a bit of remodeling, but everything is fine - we can still get fries, cheese croquettes and beer ;)

After the short detour, we picked up the key for the apartment and settled in. The apartment is big, beautiful and clean. The view from the balcony is also great, right onto the beautiful dunes! Of course, the next thing we did was go shopping. We stocked up on the essentials (and a few unnecessary items) and then went in search of something quick to eat. Off to the nearest kiosk: fries and cheese croquettes! The weather is getting really bad now, windy and wet, but that doesn't bother us much while we eat. Since we don't have anything else planned for today, we head straight back to the apartment and rest up for the upcoming vacation days.
