I have already walked around the Crozon Peninsula with my hiking friend Ines. That was 3 years ago - I even recognized some things again. The wild Brittany really messed us up here - waves and surf and photo after photo. We hiked along the GR34 and enjoyed the views. At Pointe de Pen Hir it became really windy and the bay with its big waves and sunshine invited us to frolic in the water, but it was forbidden - probably for good reason - so I continued with a sad Micha, who could only be tempted by a Crêpe in Camaret-sur-mer. Instead of the Crêpe, there was the long-awaited swim without waves. A baker saved us from starving and the way back to our parking lot beach through the green hinterland was quickly walked away. Actually, we wanted to camp right here on the beach, but the rain drove us away. The car, bicycles, and we were covered with a fine layer of sand. So we looked for a manual car wash; however, they were all out of service... nix los. We blamed it on the widely announced water shortage (which we actually didn't feel at all).
In the evening we arrived in Audierne. There we had the Crêpe - savory and sweet - and a place to spend the night. Since my darling opted out of Pointe du Raz, we had plenty of time for Quimper - a travel guide tip. But after 4 weeks of half-timbered houses and crooked walls, we got through pretty quickly and after 1 hour we were at the Declathon parking lot... shopping! ;-) After 3 hours we arrived at the campsite in Locmariaquer and let our souls dangle and we are still there - a little walk, a little reading, grilling the huge tuna steak and drinking good wine. How lovely!
