Puerto Viejo 19.4.22

Today we're going on a small bike tour again, this time in the other direction. First, we stop at Caribeans, a local chocolate maker that produces everything locally from bean to bar. Sebastian chooses a bar of milk chocolate, which we select from a 'cooling room' with about 20 varieties. Frank and I have a coffee and fresh mango smoothie and then we continue to the village. Unfortunately, there is currently a lot of construction going on, so we cycle back to a beach bar that we saw the day before but didn't visit, and we have the Chamäleon Signature Cocktail.

As for animals, there was a visitor in the pool today: a pretty big crab that thought it wanted to go swimming and was then scooped out by the friendly staff with a net. The crab didn't really see the point, but in the end, it decided to leave 😂
